The Melrose Buffaloes basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Logan Longhorns to 28 in the Buffaloes non-league victory on Saturday.

The Buffaloes now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Sumner/House for a A District 6 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Melrose will battle a team coming off a 42-26 non-league win over Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM). The record now stands at 9-5.

The Longhorns (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Buffaloes come into the A District 6 contest with a 16-1 record.
