The Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Logan Longhorns (Logan, NM), 68-33 in Thursday's league test.
The Buffaloes (19-1) will now prepare for their test against Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM). The go into the A District 6 test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, Fort Sumner/House walloped Eunice (Eunice, NM), 46-33, in a non-league test.
The Longhorns now own a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Sumner/House for a A District 6 test on Saturday, February 11.
