Texas High School Basketball - Jacksonville holds off Nacogdoches

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Jacksonville Fightin' Indians basketball team scored a close 58-57 triumph over the Nacogdoches Dragons.
The Fightin' Indians (12-15) will now prepare for their contest against Tyler (Tyler, TX). The Lions go into the 5A Region II District 10 contest with a 15-9 record. In their last contest, Tyler nipped Marshall (Marshall, TX), 49-35, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Dragons confront the Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 contest, on Friday, January 17. Nacogdoches will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 26-2 record after their 56-21 league win over Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX).
