In Tuesday's league contest, the host Jacksonville Fightin' Indians basketball team scored a good 58-49 triumph over the Nacogdoches Dragons.

The Fightin' Indians (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Temple (Temple, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Temple was topped by Del Valle (Del Valle, TX), 47-42, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Dragons battle the Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Nacogdoches will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 67-16 league win over Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX).
