Georgia High School Basketball - Towns County holds off Greene County

Fans at Tuesday's league test between the Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) and the host Greene County Tigers (Greensboro, GA), witnessed Towns County's basketball squad nip Greene County by a margin of 78-77.

The Indians (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln County (Lincolnton, GA). The Red Devils go into the A D2 Region 8 test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Lincoln County was tipped by Greene County (Greensboro, GA), 70-68, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Crawford County for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20.
