Georgia High School Basketball - Greene County tops Towns County

Greene County Tigers (Greensboro, GA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA), 62-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Greene County upgrades its record to 18-8 on the campaign.

Next up, the Indians play the Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Towns County will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 14-8 record after their 68-59 non-league loss to Warren County (Warrenton, GA).
