The Valley City Hi-Liners basketball squad scored 79 points and restricted the visiting Oak Grove Lutheran Grovers to 51 in the Hi-Liners league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Valley City upgrades its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Hi-Liners travel to Wahpeton (Wahpeton, ND) to play the Huskies in a A Region 1 bout on Thursday, January 18. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Wahpeton won 69-46 in their recent league bout against Oak Grove Lutheran (Fargo, ND)

Next up, the Grovers play the Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros (Buxton, ND) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Oak Grove Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The H-CV Burros come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 81-71 league loss to Thompson (Thompson, ND).
