The Valley City Hi-Liners basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the host Oak Grove Lutheran Grovers to 61 in the Hi-Liners league victory on Tuesday.
The Hi-Liners now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Grove Lutheran for a A Region 1 contest on Tuesday, February 13. Valley City will battle a Grovers team coming off a 76-55 league loss to Wahpeton (Wahpeton, ND). The Grovers record now stands at 3-13.
The Grovers (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Valley City (Valley City, ND). The Hi-Liners come into the A Region 1 contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Valley City prevailed over Northern Cass (Hunter, ND), 81-68, in a league contest.
