The Islands Sharks basketball team (Savannah, GA), was overwhelmed 67-15 in Tuesday's league battle with the host New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA)
The Phoenix now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeast Bulloch for a AAAA Region 3 battle on Tuesday, January 23.
The Sharks (0-9) will now prepare for their battle against Burke County (Waynesboro, GA). The Bears come into the AAAA Region 3 battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Burke County trounced Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA), 74-15, in a league battle.
