The St. Patrick's Irish basketball team (North Platte, NE), was toppled 47-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE)

The Plainsmen now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hershey for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 18. Perkins County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 61-28 non-league win over Sutherland (Sutherland, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 8-4.

The Irish (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Sutherland (Sutherland, NE). The Sailors come into the non-league battle with a 1-10 record. In their last battle, Sutherland was toppled by Hershey (Hershey, NE), 61-28, in a non-league battle.
