Nebraska High School Basketball - St. Patrick's knocked off by Perkins County

January 5, 2024: North Platte, NE 69101

The Perkins County Plainsmen basketball team scored 50 points and held the host St. Patrick's Irish to 42 in the Plainsmen league triumph on Friday.

The Plainsmen now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sutherland for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Perkins County will battle a Sailors team coming off a 63-28 non-league loss to Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE). The Sailors record now stands at 1-7.

The Irish (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Cozad (Cozad, NE). The Haymakers enter the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Cozad was defeated by Ogallala (Ogallala, NE), 59-31, in a league contest.

Congratulations to #4 Kailee Potts for being selected the Perkins County Girls Basketball Player of the Game.
