The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Virginia High won 55-47 in their recent non-league challenge against John Battle (Bristol, VA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Thomas Walker Pioneers (Ewing, VA) in a Cumberland challenge, on Friday, January 20. Eastside will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 57-49 non-league win over Cumberland Gap (Cumberland Gap, TN).
