The Twin Springs Titans basketball team (Nickelsville, VA), was nudged 43-41 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA)
The Spartans now possess a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chilhowie for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 21. Eastside will battle a Warriors team coming off a 62-55 league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 22-5.
The Titans (17-8) will now prepare for their battle against Hurley (Hurley, VA). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 6-16 record. In their last battle, Hurley edged Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA), 56-28, in a non-league battle.
