Texas High School Basketball - King ripped by Flour Bluff

The Flour Bluff Hornets basketball team scored 57 points and held the host King Mustangs to 29 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carroll for a 5A Region IV District 29 contest on Friday, January 20. Flour Bluff will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 55-48 league win over King (Corpus Christi, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 13-9.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Corpus Christi Moody Trojans (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 bout, on Friday, January 20. King will attempt to upgrade on its 14-13 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 98-66 league loss to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX).
