The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the New Garden Friends Bears (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting Cresset Christian Academy Eagles (Durham, NC), observed New Garden Friends's basketball team overwhelm Cresset Christian Academy by a score of 57-31.
The Bears (6-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC). The Colts come into the NCISAA Mid-Carolina challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Crossroads Christian was routed by Greenfield (Wilson, NC), 84-47, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Wake County Academy HomeSchool Wolves (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 20. Cresset Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 83-38 non-league loss to Northwood Temple Academy (Fayetteville, NC).
