The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) and the visiting Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL), observed Salt Fork's basketball team overcome Armstrong by a margin of 47-39.

The Storm (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Westville (Westville, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, Westville defeated Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL), 59-28, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes (Georgetown, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Armstrong will attempt to better on its 14-6 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 59-28 non-league loss to Westville (Westville, IL).
