The Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Kimball Cubs to 47 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Falcons now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eden Valley-Watkins for a AA Section 3 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City will meet a Eagles team coming off a 57-48 non-league win over Annandale (Annandale, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.
The Cubs (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Milaca (Milaca, MN). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Milaca triumphed over St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN), 59-54, in a league contest.
