In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Northside Vikings basketball team scored a good 72-64 triumph over the Cave Spring Knights.
In their next game, the Vikings meet the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a Blue Ridge match, on Friday, January 20. Northside will attempt to move on its 15-0 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 9-7 record after their 82-52 league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).
