Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) and the visiting Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA), saw Northside's basketball squad knock off Cave Spring by a tally of 57-38.

With the victory, Northside improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host Heritage (Lynchburg, VA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Knights play the Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA) in a River Ridge challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Cave Spring will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
