Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA), 65-60 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cave Spring upgrades its record to 22-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Staunton (Staunton, VA) to play the Storm in a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. The Storm come into the bout with a record of 21-6. Staunton lost 64-56 in their recent non-league bout against Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 3. Northside will attempt to advance on its 26-1 season record. The Trailblazers go into the test with a 24-2 record after their 64-56 non-league win over Staunton (Staunton, VA).
