Georgia High School Basketball - Atkinson County beaten by Charlton County

The Charlton County Indians ran past the host Atkinson County Rebels basketball team by a final score of 63-55 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Indians face the Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA) in a A D2 Region 2 game, on Tuesday, January 23. Charlton County will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record.

With the defeat, Atkinson County moves to 5-12 on the year. The Rebels host Worth County (Sylvester, GA) to confront the Rams in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 20. The Rams come into the battle with a record of 10-5. Worth County won 66-33 in their recent league battle against Berrien (Nashville, GA)
