Georgia High School Basketball - Atkinson County edges Charlton County

The Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA) basketball nipped the host Charlton County Indians (Folkston, GA), 63-58 in Tuesday's league test.

The Rebels (7-16) will now prepare for their test against Turner County (Ashburn, GA). The Titans go into the A D2 Region 2 test with a 15-9 record. In their last test, Turner County was tipped by Clinch County (Homerville, GA), 75-57, in a league test.

The Indians now own a 12-12 record. They play next when they host Echols County for a A D2 Region 2 test on Friday, February 9. Charlton County will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 61-53 non-league loss to Citizens Christian Academy (Douglas, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-15.
