Moss Pirates (Holdenville, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Macomb Hornets (Macomb, OK), 51-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Moss upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Pirates host Kinta (Kinta, OK) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 15-3.

Next up, the Hornets play the Bowlegs Bison (Bowlegs, OK) in a Little River bout, on Saturday, January 20. Macomb will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Bison go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 48-12 non-league loss to Konawa (Konawa, OK).
