In Friday's league outing, the Moss Pirates (Holdenville, OK) basketball squad felled the visiting Macomb Hornets (Macomb, OK), by a margin of 62-52.

The Pirates (8-15) will now prepare for their outing against Varnum (Seminole, OK). The Whippets go into the Little River outing with a 17-6 record. In their last outing, Varnum was beaten by Rattan (Rattan, OK), 78-63, in a non-league outing.

The Hornets now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they host Sasakwa for a Little River outing on Tuesday, February 6. Macomb will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 60-41 league loss to Mason (Mason, OK). The Vikings record now stands at 11-12.
