Patagonia Lobos (Patagonia, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host The Gregory School Hawks (Tucson, AZ), 36-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Patagonia upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Lobos travel to San Simon (San Simon, AZ) to play the Longhorns in a 1A Tucson Southeast bout on Monday, January 22. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 4-9. San Simon lost 53-22 in their recent league bout against Valley Union (Elfrida, AZ)

Next up, the Hawks play the Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels (Tucson, AZ) in a 1A Tucson Northwest bout, on Wednesday, January 24. The Gregory School will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Sentinels go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 19-16 non-league win over Phoenix Day School for the Deaf (Phoenix, AZ).
