Prairie City Panthers (Prairie City, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Huntington Locomotives (Huntington, OR), 55-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Prairie City upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Panthers host Crane (Crane, OR) to clash with the Mustangs in a 1A High Desert bout on Saturday, January 21. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 12-2.

Next up, the Locomotives clash with the Four Rivers Falcons (Ontario, OR) in a 1A High Desert bout, on Saturday, January 21. Huntington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 69-25 league win over Harper (Harper, OR).
