In Saturday's non-league outing, the Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) basketball squad felled the visiting Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL), by a margin of 69-50.
The Hornets (9-11) will now prepare for their outing against Heyworth (Heyworth, IL). The Hornets go into the Heart of Illinois outing with a 10-10 record. In their last outing, Heyworth thwarted Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL), 64-57, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley for a Heart of Illinois outing on Tuesday, January 23. Ridgeview will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 64-57 non-league loss to Heyworth (Heyworth, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 12-8.
