New Mexico High School Basketball - Reserve overwhelmed by Animas

The Animas Panthers basketball squad scored 63 points and limited the visiting Reserve Mountaineers to 25 in the Panthers league win on Saturday.
With the win, Animas upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Panthers host Magdalena (Magdalena, NM) to play the Steers in a A District 2 bout on Thursday, January 26. The Steers go into the bout with a record of 18-0. Magdalena won 75-35 in their recent league bout against Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM)
Next up, the Mountaineers play the Quemado Eagles (Quemado, NM) in a A District 2 bout, on Thursday, January 26. Reserve will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 54-23 league loss to Cliff (Cliff, NM).
