Nebraska High School Basketball - Giltner knocked off by Shelby-Rising City

The Shelby-Rising City Huskies basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Giltner Hornets to 30 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Huskies now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Osceola for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Shelby-Rising City will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 63-37 non-league win over McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-2.

The Hornets (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Exeter-Milligan (Exeter, NE). The Timberwolves enter the non-league contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Exeter-Milligan was defeated by Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE), 54-32, in a non-league contest.
