In Saturday's league match, the host Solon Comets basketball team scored a tight 64-57 triumph over the Medina Battling Bees.
In their next game, the Comets meet the Copley Indians (Copley, OH) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 23. Solon will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 16-1 record after their 62-30 league win over Aurora (Aurora, OH).
