West Virginia High School Basketball - Hoover knocked off by Nitro

January 21, 2025: Nitro, WV 25143

In Tuesday's league test, the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV), by a score of 60-52.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 25. Nitro will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Mohigans come into the test with a 7-1 record after their 89-51 league win over Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV).

The Huskies (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Nicholas County (Summersville, WV). The Grizzlies come into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Nicholas County was knocked off by Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV), 66-59, in a non-league test.
