West Virginia High School Basketball - Nitro fells Hoover

February 18, 2025: Clendenin, WV 25071

The Nitro Wildcats basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Hoover Huskies to 44 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they host Poca for a Cardinal game on Monday, February 24.

With the loss, Hoover falls to 13-3 on the campaign. The Huskies host Ripley (Ripley, WV) to confront the Vikings in a Cardinal game on Friday, February 21. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 14-5. Ripley won 85-44 in their recent non-league game against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV)
