The Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans bounced the visiting Taft School Big Red ice hockey squad by a tally of 5-0 in Wednesday's league match.

Next, the Pelicans clash with the Tabor Academy Seawolves (Marion, MA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 25. Loomis Chaffee School will attempt to improve on its 11-1 season record.

The Big Red (5-7) will now prepare for their match against Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA). The Big Green enter the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Deerfield Academy held off Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT), 2-1, in a non-league match.
