The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT) and the visiting Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT), witnessed Loomis Chaffee School's ice hockey team defeat Taft School by a final score of 4-1.

The Pelicans (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT). The Wild Boars come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Choate Rosemary Hall School got by Taft School (Watertown, CT), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Big Red battle the Kent School Lions (Kent, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Taft School will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Northwood (Lake Placid, NY).
