Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI) and the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), saw Mt. Pleasant's basketball squad knock off Cranston East by a count of 73-65.

With the victory, Mt. Pleasant upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Kilties travel to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI) to play the Rams in a State Championship challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 12-1.

Next up, the Thunderbolts play the Woonsocket Villa Novans (Woonsocket, RI) in a State Championship challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. Cranston East will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record.
