In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI), by a count of 51-29.

The Thunderbolts (8-14) will now prepare for their outing against Central (Providence, RI). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 14-5 record. In their last outing, Central smashed Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI), 67-43, in a league outing.

The Kilties now hold a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Cumberland for a non-league outing on Friday, February 17. Mt. Pleasant will clash with a Clippers squad coming off a 63-26 non-league loss to Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Clippers record now stands at 9-10.
