The Ector Eagles basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Miller Grove Hornets to 43 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 12-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy for a 1A Region III District 23 contest on Friday, January 26. Ector will meet a team coming off a 66-11 league loss to Dodd City (Dodd City, TX). The record now stands at 1-13.

The Hornets (7-22) will now prepare for their contest against Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy (Greenville, TX). The enter the 1A Region III District 23 contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy was nudged by Savoy (Savoy, TX), 48-44, in a league contest.
