In their next game, the Hornets face the Martins Mill Mustangs (Ben Wheeler, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 19. Miller Grove will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 15-1 record after their 59-50 non-league win over Tatum (Tatum, TX).

The Eagles (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Savoy (Savoy, TX). The Cardinals come into the 1A Region III District 23 battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Savoy edged Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy (Greenville, TX), 51-36, in a league battle.
