Arizona High School Basketball - Morenci victorious over Willcox

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Morenci Wildcats basketball team scored a good 61-42 triumph over the Willcox Cowboys.

The Wildcats (19-3) will now prepare for their contest against Benson (Benson, AZ). The Bobcats go into the 2A South contest with a 8-16 record. In their last contest, Benson was topped by Bisbee (Bisbee, AZ), 58-55, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cowboys confront the Tombstone Yellow Jackets (Tombstone, AZ) in a 2A South contest, on Friday, January 24. Willcox will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the contest with a 6-14 record after their 65-53 league win over San Miguel (Tucson, AZ).
