The Apollo Hawks basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Tolleson Wolverines to 25 in the Hawks league triumph on Thursday.

The Hawks now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Moon Valley for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. Apollo will confront a Rockets team coming off a 31-12 league win over Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Rockets record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Tolleson falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ) to confront the Monsoon in a 6A West Valley game on Tuesday, January 28. The Monsoon go into the game with a record of 11-7. Valley Vista lost 66-50 in their recent non-league game against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ)
