The Progreso Red Ants routed the visiting Monte Alto Blue Devil basketball team by a final score of 59-29 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Red Ants face the Santa Rosa Warriors (Santa Rosa, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 32 game, on Friday, January 27. Progreso will attempt to move on its 23-8 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 18-7 record after their 76-66 league win over Lyford (Lyford, TX).
