In Tuesday's league outing, the Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC) basketball squad edged the host Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC), by a margin of 45-43.
The Knights (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against Tarboro (Tarboro, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Tarboro held off Gates County (Gatesville, NC), 50-44, in a non-league outing.
The Falcons now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Gates County for a non-league outing on Friday, January 27. Bertie will clash with a Red Barons squad coming off a 50-44 non-league loss to Tarboro (Tarboro, NC). The Red Barons record now stands at 3-7.
