The Greensboro Day School Bengals (Greensboro, NC) basketball edged the visiting Calvary Day School Cougars (Winston-Salem, NC), 61-54 in Friday's league bout.
The Bengals now possess a 24-4 record. They play next when they host Wesleyan Christian Academy for a NCISAA Piedmont bout on Tuesday, January 28. Greensboro Day School will play a Trojans team coming off a 54-48 league win over High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 16-7.
With the loss, Calvary Day School falls to 11-10 on the campaign. The Cougars host Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Camels in a non-league bout on Monday, January 27. The Camels go into the bout with a record of 2-15. Atkins lost 92-39 in their recent league bout against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC)
