In Friday's league contest, the visiting DeKalb Barbs basketball team scored a good 49-39 triumph over the Naperville North Huskies.
The Barbs (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Rockford Auburn was topped by Guilford (Rockford, IL), 65-56, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Huskies confront the North Lawndale Phoenix (Chicago, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. Naperville North will attempt to better on its 12-10 season record. The Phoenix go into the contest with a 10-8 record after their 66-50 league win over Chicago Marshall (Chicago, IL).
