Georgia High School Basketball - McIntosh County Academy edged by Jenkins County

The McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers basketball team (Darien, GA), was nudged 61-55 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA)

The War Eagles now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Treutlen for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 27. Jenkins County will confront a Vikings team coming off a 79-67 league win over Telfair County (McRae, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 14-5.

The Buccaneers (12-6) will now prepare for their battle against Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA). The Eagles come into the A D2 Region 3 battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, Montgomery County edged Savannah Classical Academy (Savannah, GA), 73-66, in a league battle.
