Georgia High School Basketball - McIntosh County Academy falls to Jenkins County

February 7, 2024: Millen, GA 30442

In Wednesday's league match, the host Jenkins County War Eagles basketball team scored a good 60-52 triumph over the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers.

In their next game, the War Eagles meet the Portal Panthers (Portal, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 match, on Friday, February 9. Jenkins County will attempt to better on its 18-5 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 23-1 record after their 73-39 league win over Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA).

With the defeat, McIntosh County Academy moves to 14-9 on the year. The Buccaneers host Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA) to meet the Eagles in a A D2 Region 3 match on Friday, February 9. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 7-16. Montgomery County lost 63-62 in their recent league match against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA)
