Georgia High School Basketball - McIntosh County Academy edges Jenkins County

February 15, 2024: Darien, GA 31305

The McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA), 53-46 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Buccaneers (18-9) will now prepare for their test against Portal (Portal, GA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 25-1 record. In their last test, Portal got by Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA), 95-51, in a non-league test.

The War Eagles now own a 18-7 record. They play next when they travel to Montgomery County for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. Jenkins County will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 95-51 non-league loss to Portal (Portal, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-19.
