The Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) basketball crushed the host Riverdale Chieftains (Muscoda, WI), 69-43 in Friday's league test.
The Pointers (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Belleville (Belleville, WI). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Belleville walloped Wisconsin Heights (Mazomanie, WI), 58-25, in a league test.
The Chieftains now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to La Farge/Youth Initiative for a non-league test on Monday, January 29. Riverdale will encounter a squad coming off a 58-47 league loss to Kickapoo (Viola, WI). The record now stands at 4-14.
