Virginia High School Basketball - Northside overwhelmed by Lord Botetourt

The Lord Botetourt Cavaliers basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Northside Vikings to 40 in the Cavaliers league victory on Friday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fleming for a Blue Ridge contest on Tuesday, January 31. Lord Botetourt will battle a Colonels team coming off a 55-39 non-league win over Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Colonels record now stands at 14-4.
The Vikings (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Golden Eagles come into the Blue Ridge contest with a 3-17 record. In their last contest, Staunton River triumphed over William Byrd (Vinton, VA), 48-45, in a league contest.
