Cross County Cougars (Stromsburg, NE) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Shelby-Rising City Huskies (Shelby, NE), 77-45 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Cross County advances its record to 14-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Osceola (Osceola, NE) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 10-7. Osceola won 57-52 in their recent non-league match against High Plains (Polk, NE)

The Huskies now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Twin River for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Shelby-Rising City will face a Titans squad coming off a 65-53 non-league loss to McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE). The Titans record now stands at 7-10.
